Tonal Harmony is here.

New covers, new tabs, and your name is still on the front.

Tonal Harmony is a new collection of planner cover and tab art from The Kept Year. There are now five softcover covers, four of them new: Tonal Harmony 1, 2, and 3, and Seasons and Shelter 2. Each is printed with the book, with your name on the front in Garamond. Every cover is included.

Why we made new covers

We have been listening to what you tell us; and we know that the artwork on a planner is a small, real reflection of the person who carries it. So we wanted to give each of you more ways to make the book feel like yours.

Here is each new cover, one at a time.

Tonal Harmony 1: teal botanicals on white

Tonal Harmony 1 is line-drawn botanicals, ferns and wildflowers, in deep teal on white.

It might suit you if you like a quiet, clean page.

Tonal Harmony 2: poppies on deep teal

Tonal Harmony 2 is orange and peach poppies, with berries and leaves, on deep teal.

It might suit you if you want some color on your desk in January.

Tonal Harmony 3: blush florals on ivory

Tonal Harmony 3 is blush flowers with sage and dark green leaves on ivory.

It might suit you if you love a soft floral.

Seasons and Shelter 2: the mountain farmhouse

Seasons and Shelter 2 is also new: a watercolor mountain farmhouse with a red barn, lilacs, and snowy peaks. It’s a companion to Seasons and Shelter 1, our first design.

It might suit you if you loved the first Seasons and Shelter and wanted a second view of that same world.

Seasons and Shelter 1: still here

Seasons and Shelter 1 is still available. It was our first design, and it isn’t going anywhere.

The new tab art

Tonal Harmony also brings new tab art: a set of repeating seasonal patterns, each drawn in a single line color over a soft tint of a related color.

There are snowflakes on pale blue; shamrocks on soft green; daffodils on butter yellow; strawberries on peach pink; sunflowers on cream; pumpkins and vines on pale orange; pine boughs on deep green; and a small house and tree in white on deep teal (along with several more). They are little things… but little things are what you see every time you open the book.

Five covers, one way they’re made

All five covers are made the same way: “Softcover, printed with the book. Your name on the front, set in Garamond, over the theme’s paintings.” The only choice is which one feels like you.
